Barun Hydropower Announces 100% Right Share Issue; Book Closure Set for Jestha 22
This move follows approval from the Securities Board of Nepal, which authorized the company to issue 5,358,150 units of right shares.
Barun Hydropower Company Limited is gearing up to issue 100 percent right shares, aiming to double its current paid-up capital through this fundraising initiative. As part of the process, the company has fixed Jestha 22, 2081 as the book closure date. Only shareholders listed by Jestha 21 will be eligible to apply for the offer.
This move follows approval from the Securities Board of Nepal, which authorized the company to issue 5,358,150 units of right shares at a par value of NRs. 100 per share in a 1:1 ratio. The total amount to be raised through this issue stands at NRs. 535.815 million.
