Government Allocates Rs. 2 Kharba 11 Arba to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology for FY 2082/83

The Government of Nepal has allocated Rs. 2 kharba 11 arba 17 crore to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel announced the allocation while presenting the annual budget in the Federal Parliament on Thursday.
Key Allocations Within the Education Budget:
Rs. 2 arba 72 crore has been allocated for the construction of modern schools across the country.
Rs. 1 arba 29 crore has been set aside for the free distribution of sanitary pads to schoolgirls, aiming to improve menstrual hygiene and reduce absenteeism.
Rs. 10 arba 19 crore has been allocated for the mid-day meal program to ensure nutritional support for school children and encourage school attendance.
