Global IME Laghubitta has delivered a stellar performance that is reshaping Nepal’s microfinance landscape, achieving results that go beyond conventional industry expectations. The institution’s remarkable growth across all major financial indicators showcases the power of strategic leadership, operational discipline, and market adaptability.

The most striking highlight of the year is the leap in Earnings Per Share (EPS) from NPR 17.16 to NPR 38.11, a 2.22-fold increase. This surge reflects a combination of smart lending strategies, effective cost controls, and an expanded market footprint. Net profit soared by an impressive 121.90% to NPR 235.8 million, further cementing the institution’s position as a top performer in the microfinance sector.

Global IME Laghubitta’s net interest income rose 20.31% to NPR 759.7 million, indicating a highly efficient lending portfolio supported by prudent risk management. Additionally, net fees and commission income climbed nearly 20% to NPR 85.2 million, underlining the institution’s ability to diversify its income streams. This balance of interest-based and fee-based revenues strengthens financial stability while opening new avenues for growth.

Operational excellence was evident with net operating income reaching NPR 751.4 million and operating profit hitting NPR 337.2 million. Reserves and retained earnings increased from NPR 480.8 million to NPR 713.9 million, creating a solid financial foundation for future expansion. Deposit collections grew from NPR 3.07 billion to NPR 3.61 billion, while loan disbursements climbed from NPR 8.50 billion to NPR 9.83 billion, clear signs of rising customer trust and market influence.

The institution also made significant progress in risk management, with its non-performing loan ratio improving from 4.07% to 3.62%. This achievement reflects disciplined credit policies and a commitment to maintaining asset quality even during aggressive growth phases. With a net worth per share of NPR 215.35 and total assets per share of NPR 1,677.17, Global IME Laghubitta stands out as one of the most attractive investment opportunities in the microfinance sector.
