Nabil Mutual Fund, managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited and promoted by Nabil Bank, is set to introduce its latest investment scheme, ‘NI 31’, from Shrawan 30, 2082. This launch marks a strategic move aimed at reshaping Nepal’s mutual fund market by providing retail investors with access to professionally managed, institutional-grade investment opportunities.
The scheme will mobilize Rs. 250 million through the issuance of 25 million units at a par value of Rs. 10 each. Designed to encourage wide participation, the pricing ensures accessibility for smaller investors while maintaining the professional investment structure sought by larger, more experienced market participants. Out of the total units, 3.75 million (15%) will be reserved for the fund manager, with 11.25 million units available to the public in the first phase.
The fund’s subscription parameters are tailored to suit both entry-level and high-value investors. The minimum purchase requirement is 100 units, while the maximum application limit is 2.5 million units. This inclusive approach allows young investors to begin building their portfolios and provides seasoned investors the opportunity to take significant positions in a professionally managed asset pool.
Applications can be made through C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions, their designated branches, and the Mero Share online portal, ensuring convenience and wide accessibility. The public issue will remain open until Bhadra 3, 2082, with a possible extension to Bhadra 13, 2082. The scheme’s open-ended structure further allows investors to participate even after the initial issuance period, offering ongoing liquidity and flexibility.
Backed by the strong financial foundation of Nabil Bank and the specialized expertise of Nabil Investment Banking, NI 31 is positioned to attract a broad spectrum of investors. Its launch comes at a time when demand for professionally managed investment products in Nepal is rising, driven by growing investor sophistication and an expanding capital market. With its blend of accessibility, professional oversight, and ongoing participation opportunities, NI 31 has the potential to set new standards in the country’s mutual fund sector.
