NTA Issues Notice to 73 Internet Service Providers to Clear Dues Within 15 Days
“All concerned parties are hereby informed to submit the required details, documents, and outstanding dues to the NTA within 15 days from the date of this notice.”

The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has issued a public notice instructing 73 internet service providers to clear their outstanding dues under royalty and the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF) within 15 days.
In the recently published notice, the regulatory body named companies such as Broadband Nepal, Broadlink Network, Classic Tech, Dish Media Network, Mercantile Communications, and Websurfer Nepal, among others, asking them to settle the remaining payments. The notice mentions that these service providers have failed to submit their audited financial statements, royalty fees, and contributions to the RTDF to the government and the NTA for several years.
According to the NTA, despite multiple reminders via letters, emails, and public notices, these companies have not complied with the submission of necessary documents and dues.
The notice states, “All concerned parties are hereby informed to submit the required details, documents, and outstanding dues to the NTA within 15 days from the date of this notice.”
The authority has also warned that failure to comply within the given timeframe will lead to legal action under the Telecommunications Act, 1996 (2053 BS).
