Undistributed Rights Shares of Dordikhola Hydropower Allotted; Cutoff Price Set
Dordikhola Hydropower has completed the allotment of 1.94 million undistributed rights shares through a public auction. The cutoff price was set at NPR 265 for promoter shares and NPR 270 for the general public. Refunds for unsuccessful bidders will start soon, while unsold shares will be re-auctioned.

Dordikhola Hydropower Company has completed the allotment of its undistributed rights shares, which were offered through a public auction. The company put 1,946,676 shares up for auction from Jestha 11 to Jestha 20, and the allotment process was finalized on Jestha 28, 2082.
Sanima Capital, the issue manager responsible for the share issuance, announced that it processed all sealed bids received during the auction period and completed the allotment accordingly. For the promoter group shares under lock-in, the cutoff price was set at NPR 265 per share, while the general public shares under auction had a cutoff price of NPR 270 per share.
Shares were allocated proportionally based on the relative weight of bids submitted at the cutoff price. Interestingly, the general public group, which did not have shares under lock-in, saw fewer applications than the number of shares available. As a result, applicants who submitted valid bids received shares according to their demand.
Refunds for unsuccessful applicants who did not receive share allotments will begin from Jestha 30. Additionally, 93,629 shares from the general public category, which did not receive applications, will be re-auctioned according to Sanima Capital’s announcement.
This allotment marks a key step for Dordikhola Hydropower as it strengthens its equity base and prepares for further growth in the hydropower sector.
