Nepal House of Representatives Meeting Rescheduled for Wednesday

According to a notice issued by Federal Parliament Secretary-General Padma Prasad Pandey, the meeting was rescheduled under Rule 6(3) of the House of Representatives Regulations, 2083. The House was scheduled to discuss several legislative matters, including the Nepal Law Commission (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 and a proposal seeking consideration of the Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083, to be presented by Law Minister Sobita Gautam. The agenda also included consideration of the Marine Biological Diversity Agreement under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and a proposal by Youth, Labour and Employment Minister Ramji Yadav to send the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 2083 to the relevant parliamentary committee for clause-by-clause discussion. These matters are now scheduled to be taken up when the House meets on Wednesday.
