Nepal Oil Corporation Forms Quick Response Team to Prevent LPG Shortages

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has officially launched a Quick Response Team to promptly address LPG gas supply disruptions and consumer complaints across the country. The initiative follows a directive from Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav, who instructed authorities to ensure that households do not face shortages of cooking gas under any circumstances. The response mechanism includes representatives from the Ministry of Industry, Nepal Oil Corporation, the Department of Industry, and the gas industry, and is tasked with coordinating with gas companies, dealers, and distributors to resolve supply-related issues as quickly as possible. According to NOC, the team was formed in response to a recent rise in complaints about LPG shortages and distribution problems. Consumers experiencing gas supply issues can report their complaints through NOC's hotline (01-5971902) during office hours, after which the Quick Response Team will immediately initiate the necessary coordination and resolution process.
