    Gold Price Surges by Rs 1,600; Silver Retreats Slightly in Nepal

    Gold jumps by Rs 1,600 to reach Rs 301,300, while silver drops to Rs 5,160 today.

    Gold Price Surges by Rs 1,600; Silver Retreats Slightly in Nepal

    On Tuesday, April 21, 2026 (Baisakh 8), the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported a notable increase in gold prices. Fine gold jumped by Rs 1,600 per tola, reaching a high of Rs 301,300 compared to Monday's rate of Rs 299,700. In contrast, the silver market saw a downward trend, with prices falling by Rs 30 per tola. Silver is currently trading at Rs 5,160, down from yesterday’s closing of Rs 5,190.
