    Gold Drops by Rs. 3,100 Per Tola, Silver Falls Rs. 125 in Nepali Market

    Both gold and silver prices declined sharply on Friday, with gold slipping to Rs. 282,100 per tola and silver falling to Rs. 4,200 per tola.

    Gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Friday, Shrawan 1, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association. The price of fine gold dropped by Rs. 3,100 per tola to Rs. 282,100, down from Thursday's rate of Rs. 285,200 per tola. Similarly, silver prices fell by Rs. 125 per tola, bringing the new market price to Rs. 4,200 per tola compared to Rs. 4,325 per tola recorded a day earlier. The latest decline reflects a notable correction in precious metal prices in the domestic market.
