Nepal's weather department has forecasted moderate rain, hail, and strong winds across multiple provinces, with snowfall expected in higher altitudes.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has announced that several parts of the country are likely to experience rainfall today. The forecast indicates general cloud cover along with potential windstorms, hail, moderate rain, and snowfall in specific regions. According to the department, general cloudiness will prevail this afternoon in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim. The Terai region of Sudurpashchim is expected to remain partially cloudy. Furthermore, moderate rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, wind, and hail is expected in some parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Similar weather patterns may occur in a few places within the hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini and Karnali, as well as isolated spots in other parts of the country.
