Himalayan Re-Insurance Limited Reconstitutes Board Following Four Resignations

Himalayan Re-Insurance Limited (HRL) has announced a major reconstitution of its Board of Directors following a recent board meeting. The company officially accepted the resignations of four prominent board members: Mr. Amit More, Mr. Rajiv More, Ms. Subhechha Kharel, and Independent Director Mr. Subhash Kumar Jhunjhunwala. This shift marks a strategic transition as the reinsurer aligns its governance with upcoming corporate goals.

To ensure stability until the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), the board has appointed Mr. Dipak Kumar Mishra (representing Shree Kalika Fincorp Pvt. Ltd.) and Mr. Ashish Chandra Neupane as the new Independent Director. These changes have been formally communicated to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The reshuffle comes at a critical time as HRL continues to solidify its position as a leading player in Nepal’s financial sector.
