    Gold Nears Rs. 300,000 as Gold and Silver Prices Rise Again

    Gold gained Rs. 900 per tola and silver increased by Rs. 10 per tola in the domestic market on Friday, continuing their upward trend.

    Gold and silver prices in Nepal continued their upward momentum on Friday (Shrawan 22), with both precious metals recording fresh gains in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 900 per tola to reach Rs. 296,900, up from Rs. 296,000 on Thursday. Meanwhile, silver also climbed by Rs. 10 per tola, trading at Rs. 4,580, compared to Rs. 4,570 a day earlier. The latest increase extends the recent upward trend in precious metal prices, bringing gold closer to the Rs. 300,000-per-tola milestone.
