Gold Rates Crash Upward! Massive Rs 1,800 Per Tola Surge Today

The domestic bullion market witnessed an aggressive upward correction during Thursday’s trading session, setting a challenging new pricing standard for buyers across Nepal. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold surged by a substantial Rs 1,800 per tola, elevating its market value to a notable high of Rs 293,800, up from Wednesday's closing rate of Rs 292,000. Paralleling this bullish momentum, silver prices registered a sharp increase of Rs 90 per tola, driving the current valuation to Rs 5,050 compared to the previous day’s close of Rs 4,960. This sudden single-day rally highlights intense volatility in the precious metals sector, continuously forcing benchmarks closer to unprecedented psychological limits.
