    NEPSE declined 7.37 points (0.27%) on Friday to close at 2,643.83, while daily turnover stood at Rs. 4.27 Arba with over 9.75 million shares traded.

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single-digit decline of 7.37 points (0.27%) on Friday to close at 2,643.83, reversing the 8.81-point gain recorded in the previous trading session. The benchmark index opened at 2,649.116 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,653.48 and a low of 2,638.64 before settling at the closing level. Total market turnover reached Rs. 4.27 Arba, with 9,754,403 shares traded across 344 companies through 43,060 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.47 Kharba, while float market capitalization amounted to Rs. 15.36 Kharba. Agricultural Bond (9 Year) (ADBLB87) topped the turnover chart with transactions worth Rs. 70.87 crore, closing at Rs. 1,016. Meanwhile, Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL) and Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) hit the upper circuit after gaining 15% each, while Super Khudi Hydropower Limited (SKHL) recorded the highest decline of 12.83% to close at Rs. 870. Among sectoral indices, the Others Index posted the highest gain of 0.44%, whereas the Trading Index suffered the largest decline of 2.57%. NEPSE remained within the 2,630–2,655 range throughout the week, with a breakout above the range potentially opening the path toward the 2,670 resistance, while the near-term support remains around 2,600.
