Bullion Update: Gold Drops Rs 700 as Silver Hits New High of Rs 5,710

Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported contrasting price movements in the precious metals sector on Wednesday, May 13. Gold prices experienced a decline of Rs 700 per tola, settling at Rs 302,200 after having traded at Rs 302,900 during the previous session. This intraday adjustment suggests a period of stabilization following recent peaks in the gold market. Conversely, silver prices exhibited continued bullish momentum, appreciating by Rs 15 per tola to reach a new market high of Rs 5,710. While gold has entered a brief phase of consolidation, silver maintains a consistent and robust growth pattern, reflecting strong demand in the domestic bullion sector.
