NEPSE Urges Listed Companies to Pay Annual Renewal Fees by Mid-October

Listed companies must pay their FY 2026/27 annual renewal fees by the end of Ashwin or face penalties and possible suspension of their securities listing.

NEPSE Urges Listed Companies to Pay Annual Renewal Fees by Mid-October

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has issued a public notice urging all listed companies to pay their annual renewal fees for FY 2083/84 (2026/27) by the end of Ashwin in accordance with the Securities Listing Regulations, 2018 (2075 BS). NEPSE has warned that companies failing to meet the deadline may face suspension of their securities listing, in addition to other regulatory actions. Under the prescribed fee structure, companies with paid-up capital of up to Rs. 500 million are required to pay an annual renewal fee of Rs. 50,000, while those with paid-up capital exceeding Rs. 500 million must pay Rs. 100,000. For debentures and mutual funds, the renewal fee has been set at Rs. 25,000 for funds with capital up to Rs. 500 million and Rs. 50,000 for those above that threshold. NEPSE has instructed issuers to deposit the renewal fee into its designated account at Global IME Bank, Kamaladi, and submit the bank payment voucher to the exchange as proof of payment. The exchange further clarified that companies failing to pay the renewal fee by the prescribed deadline will be subject to a 10% annual penalty. It also reminded listed entities that, under the Securities Listing Regulations, continued non-compliance could result in the suspension of their listing, potentially affecting the trading of their securities on the secondary market.
