    Nepal-India Relations in Focus as PM Balendra Shah Meets Indian Ambassador

    Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a courtesy meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava, discussing bilateral relations, development cooperation, mutual interests, and ways to further strengthen Nepal-India ties.

    Nepal-India Relations in Focus as PM Balendra Shah Meets Indian Ambassador

    Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a courtesy meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava on Monday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. The meeting focused on various aspects of Nepal-India bilateral relations, development partnership, and mutual cooperation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the long-standing friendship between Nepal and India and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest. Ambassador Srivastava congratulated Prime Minister Shah on his tenure and expressed the Indian government’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. In response, Prime Minister Shah emphasized the importance of deepening Nepal’s historic relationship with India and working together in areas of shared interest. He acknowledged India’s significant role in Nepal’s development and stressed the need for more effective coordination and cooperation between the two countries in the coming days. The meeting is expected to contribute to further strengthening Nepal-India diplomatic relations and expanding areas of mutual cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing collaboration and taking the bilateral partnership forward.
