    NEPSE Rebounds Sharply by 44 Points, Snapping Seven-Day Losing Streak

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) marked a strong recovery today, advancing by 44.59 points to close at 2,652.92 and breaking a consecutive seven-day downward trend. Total market turnover reached Rs. 3.86 Arba, fueled by a 14.99% positive circuit limit hit by Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL), while Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited (LSL) spearheaded the individual volume charts.

    The benchmark index of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) staged a robust recovery today, ending a punishing seven-day consecutive losing streak by rallying 44.59 points, or 1.70%, to settle at 2,652.92. This market resurgence follows a notable decline of 24.63 points observed during yesterday's trading session. Opening at 2,606.86, the index experienced intraday volatility, dipping to a low of 2,602.39 before climbing to a peak of 2,654.02 just prior to the closing bell. Aggregate daily turnover reached Rs. 3.86 Arba, driven by the exchange of 9,547,678 shares across 362 distinct companies via 56,850 individual transactions. At the close of trade, overall market capitalization was valued at Rs. 45.43 Kharba, with the float market capitalization resting at Rs. 15.29 Kharba. In corporate performances, Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited (LSL) dominated market liquidity, registering the highest individual turnover of Rs. 28.84 crores to close at Rs. 219.00 per share. On the gainers' front, Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) hit a maximum positive circuit limit, surging 14.99% to close at Rs. 522.30. Conversely, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) experienced the session's steepest correction, dropping 5.21% to close at a last traded price of Rs. 1,800.00. Sectoral indices performed uniformly well, led by the Trading Index with a peak gain of 2.60%, while the Development Bank Index recorded the most modest upward movement, closing higher by 0.55%.
