    New Investment Opportunity Alert: Sanima Equity Fund 2 Hits the Market Today with Rs 1 Billion Issue!

    Sanima Capital has opened public subscriptions for its 10-year closed-end mutual fund scheme, Sanima Equity Fund 2, starting May 7.

    New Investment Opportunity Alert: Sanima Equity Fund 2 Hits the Market Today with Rs 1 Billion Issue!

    Sanima Capital has officially opened the unit issuance and sale for 'Sanima Equity Fund 2' starting today, May 7 (Baisakh 24). This scheme, operating under the Sanima Mutual Fund, is a closed-end investment plan with a maturity period of 10 years.

    Under this scheme, Sanima Capital is issuing 100 million units at a face value of Rs 10 per unit, totaling an issue size of Rs 1 billion. Of the total units, 13% (at least 13 million units) have been reserved for the fund promoter, Sanima Bank Limited, and 2% (2 million units) for the fund manager, Sanima Capital Limited. The general public can apply for the remaining 85 million units.

    Investors can apply for the units from today until May 12 (Baisakh 29). If the issue is not fully subscribed within this period, the application deadline will be extended until May 21 (Jestha 7). The minimum investment requirement is 100 units, while the maximum limit is set at 10 million units.

    Applications can be submitted through any C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), as well as their designated branches. Additionally, investors can apply online using the 'Mero Share' software developed by CDS and Clearing Limited. Sanima Capital Limited is serving as the issue and sales manager for this fund.

    Regarding the ratings for the issuance, Care Ratings Nepal has assigned a 'CARE-NP Single A-' issuer rating to the fund promoter. Meanwhile, ICRA Nepal has assigned an 'ICRANP AMC Quality 3+' rating to the fund manager, Sanima Capital.
