Avyan Laghubitta Declares No Dividend for Shareholders; Financial Reports Sent to NRB for Approval

Avyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) has officially decided not to distribute any dividends to its shareholders for the previous fiscal year. This decision was made during a meeting of the microfinance institution's Board of Directors held on Jestha 22. In addition to the dividend skip, the board resolved to forward its financial statements from the last fiscal year to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) for final regulatory approval in line with this decision. Since its debut on the secondary market in Ashoj 2079 (October 2022), the company has yet to distribute dividends to its investors. Despite this, AVYAN maintains a strong presence on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), where its total listed shares stand at 2.5 million kieta, and its stock last traded at a premium of Rs 1,114.90 per share last week. Looking at its financial indicators, the microfinance company reported an impressive Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs 52.53 and a Net Worth Per Share of Rs 157.84 as of the third quarter of the current fiscal year.
