Financial Disclosure Reveals President Trump Earned Over $1 Billion From Cryptocurrency Ventures

According to his mandatory 927-page financial disclosure for 2025, US President Donald Trump accumulated more than $1 billion in earnings from cryptocurrency dealings. Despite severe ethics criticisms regarding blatant conflicts of interest, the White House has heavily dismissed the claims, maintaining that the President's actions serve the American public and have successfully positioned the country as the global crypto capital.

Financial Disclosure Reveals President Trump Earned Over $1 Billion From Cryptocurrency Ventures

US President Donald Trump generated over $1 billion (£750 million) from cryptocurrency business transactions in 2025, according to a mandatory 927-page financial disclosure released on Tuesday. The filings reveal that Trump brought in $635 million in royalties from a Trump meme coin alongside over $500 million from World Liberty Financial, a digital asset firm established by his sons and the children of special envoy Steve Witkoff. While the figures significantly eclipse his 2024 income of $600 million, traditional assets also yielded high returns, with Trump generating $77 million from Mar-a-Lago, $122 million from his Doral golf club, and millions more through branded merchandise including watches, Bibles, and fragrances. Despite sharp criticism from former White House ethics lawyers who condemned the unprecedented earnings as an active conflict of interest, White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly firmly denied any impropriety, stating that the President’s assets remain held in a trust managed by his sons and proudly pointing to administration policies that have optimized the United States as the premier global crypto hub.
