    Domestic Precious Metal Rates Recede as Mid-Week Trading Opens Lower

    Precious metal prices take a hit as gold drops by Rs. 1,200 per tola and silver plunges to Rs. 4,080 on Wednesday.

    Domestic Precious Metal Rates Recede as Mid-Week Trading Opens Lower

    The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported a noticeable decline in the prices of precious metals on Wednesday, Ashar 3. Fine gold plummeted by Rs. 1,200 per tola, settling at Rs. 2,97,300 against Tuesday’s trading price of Rs. 2,98,500. In tandem with gold, the silver market also faced a steep downward correction. Silver traded at Rs. 4,080 per tola, marking a sharp decline from the previous day's closing rate of Rs. 4,990 per tola.
