Muktinath Bikas Bank Unveils App-Based Mobile Banking ‘Self-Renew’ Feature

Muktinath Bikas Bank upgrades its "Faida App," allowing users to instantly reactivate expired digital banking services and update personal NID or PAN credentials from the comfort of their homes.

Muktinath Bikas Bank Unveils App-Based Mobile Banking ‘Self-Renew’ Feature

Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has announced a major upgrade to its official mobile banking platform, the "Muktinath Faida App," by introducing an innovative "self-renew" functionality. This latest digital milestone effectively eliminates the traditional requirement for customers to physically visit a brick-and-mortar branch simply to reinstate or extend their expired mobile banking subscriptions. Under the newly integrated system, users whose digital banking access has expired will automatically encounter an expiry notification pop-up upon logging into the application. By interacting with the "Renew Now" command, customers can directly review the applicable service fee details on-screen. The entire reactivation workflow is secured using the account holder's personal transaction PIN, granting instantaneous and uninterrupted restoration of mobile banking privileges. In addition to autonomous subscription renewals, the updated Muktinath Faida App empowers users with enhanced self-service profile management tools. Customers can now update critical personal and regulatory identification credentials—including National Identity Card (NID) data, Permanent Account Number (PAN) details, and registered email addresses—directly through the application's secure user interface. According to an official statement from the bank, these digital interventions are systematically designed to amplify customer convenience, optimize operational efficiency, and provide a seamless end-to-end digital banking experience.
